Industry Specific Notes: C-Store

Under L'ânePOS, c-stores function like general retail stores.

Register Interface: The Curses interface has lower resource requirements when compared to the touch screen interface.
Hardware: The only special item registerCurses requires is a programmable keyboard. A NIC (or other thin client) can make an inexpensive cash register.
Limitation-Fuel Handling: The current system doesn't provide a pump control interface. L'âne supports fractional quantities and amounts (ie $1.099), so the system can track the amount of fuel sold.
